Drawing, Beginning to Intermediate
September 11-October 2 (4 Mondays 10-12 noon)
A basic drawing class for beginning or intermediate students in which you will learn techniques and abilities through fun exercises that will improve your skills and confidence. The basis of any art is drawing ability. Becoming adept at drawing gives great satisfaction and lifelong pleasure and this class will prove that anyone can draw! Come join in the fun!
Materials List:
Pencils – several drawing pencils of various softness/hardness, soft being designated by “B”, hardness is “H”. The softer pencils produce darker lines.
Charcoal or Conte – A few charcoal sticks or pencils, useful particularly for shading broad areas. Conte in black, sepia or sanguine is a bit more waxy, charcoal drier.
Pens – disposable ones are fine, Micron brand are good; they usually come in sets with different size points
Sketchbook – any kind will work, at least 9 x 12 inches
Eraser
