Painting with Fabric
Saturday, December 2, 10am – 2:30 pm with 30-minute lunch & Sunday, December 3, 12 – 4 pm$100 members, $120 nonmembers
Begin on Saturday with a simple design of your own or use some of my basic fish patterns to learn the technique for making fabric collages that are attached to canvas with an adhesive. No sewing required!
A wide variety of fabric choices provided, along with several types of gel mediums and Modge Podge. Canvases included.
Hundreds of beads, baubles, twine and other embellishments will be available to add to the project on Sunday.
You may have time to create more than one!
Material list:
One small pointed sharp scissors
Tweezers or small hemostats
Old paint brush – 1/2 inch to 2 inches
1/2 inch flat paintbrush (used or old)
8 ounce or so container to hold water
