Beginning Painting in Oil

Jumpstart your creating with a weekend workshop! The basics of painting using oils will be covered with a combination of structured lessons and hands-on experience over two days. Discussions will cover materials such as paint, brushes and painting supports as well as key concepts including color, value and composition.

Patty Grewe-Mullins is an artist who paints in both oils and acrylic and has won awards for her oil paintings. Her interest in art and artists’ materials led to a master’s degree and 30-year career in art conservation
