Watercolor Basics on Paper and Canvas

We will be exploring the basic techniques unique to watercolor, and making our own samples after demos. After some discussion of art principles, we will use our techniques in a painting on watercolor paper, as wall as canvas. Emphasis will be on a “loose”approach and not attempting realism – enjoying water mingling with pigment and enjoying surprises!
